does anybody have and info/pics on swaping the exterior door handles on a nova. im sure i saw it done a while back with great looking results, just cant remember what handles were used and/or if it was a big task getting them to work properly.

Benn runs Audi handles and apparently they were hard work and struggle to operate with the window down if I recall correctly

would love to fit a set of these bad boys, but get the feeling they would be a right headache http://www.astonmartinbits.com/models/9-Virage/parts/430

Faff IMO. Looked at the Audi ones too. You can buy kits though IIRC from Venom Motorsport.

To be honest, we don't do this for the average joe... We do this for the other guys who like novas/vauxhalls... They would notice... That's the point.

As Greame said, i have Audi A3 style handles fitted. There where a utter c**t. Fitting was easy. But as soon as i put the glass is i found that the bar that moves the catch was in the way of the glass.
I had to re-design the bar, then re-make it, i'm still not happy with it but there isnt much i can do.
If you lift my handle gently enough the catch doesn't open.. Plus the bars popped out one night and i was stuck out of the car.. At 1am, with it running...

I seen some smoothed in ones on a corsa and they looked good but a few years down the line they cracked
