View Full Version : Nova is off to paint Wednesday what colour do I go for? Poll
My nova sprint c is off for paint this week, I'd planned on just having it painted silver again but I'm increasingly tempted to change the colour to white. It a hard decision to make, the colour silver is the only original part of the car from when I bought it 10 years ago, on the other hand i think the white looks pretty damn good!
What's your thoughts. Here's a cople of pics to show you what it could look like in either colour.

I think it looks best in white, but keeping the original colour is probably the 'right' thing to do.

I'd say silver.
I like both..but the silver just edges it for me.
White, without a shadow of a doubt :d
Or regatta blue, as its one of, if not the rarest colour ive come across :d

I thought everyone would vote white for some reason.
I love the white, I just don't know if I can bring myself to change it. I don't think I'd be as worried about changing the colour if I hadn't had the car for almost 11 years

It will only be silver or white im afraid.
It will be getting full graphics regardless of colour.

i love the blue 1 looks awesome :cool: ... dont think i could have either silver or white after looking at the blue nova sprint pic :)....
White with the decals.
All of the other options just have the look of an aftermarket kitted Nova if you know what I mean.

see a more modern picture of it looking glorious in silver would be better, as the one in white looks sooooo tasty, but if it was silver and in thoose pictures i reckon it could be a cracker!

I know what you mean, I can't seem to find any modern photos of a sliver one with graphics. You can see by these two photo's how different the silver looks between new and old photos

Silver looks good anyway, your car kinda has its own identity/status already imo. However if I had to change the colour I'd do it Black, with the decals etc it would look good IMO. Anything lairy colourwise will just reduce it to the typical kitted chav mobile imo.
I clearly didnt read the opening post, however from the above you can deduce that I chose/voted Silver over White.

Silver. Such an easy decision.
It needs to be silver to bring out the shape of the car/kit.
I would say black with the decals fitted, was a colour they came from the factory in but ive never seen one this colour.
Anyone fancy changing this pic to black leaving the decals on.

It's staying silver. I just think it would be to bigger change for me and like a couple of said the silver is part of its identity. If I hadn't owned the car for so long, I don't think a colour change would worry me so much.

Door handles and locks

Thoughts please as I'm unsure.
Just delocked imo. If it were me I would go for body colour handles or something flush fit

Would you be happy opened the doors with a press of your alarm fob? As de locked and handled would look nice... But de handle can be impractical...
I'd just de lock.

The doors currently open via a button under the wing mirror. Been like that for years and works very well. So that side of it is not an issue.
