My novas

Thought I would post a thread up of my novas hopefully going to make 2 good ones out of 3 so here's a pic of each

Frist up is my y reg this is a keeper will be gettin sprayed in the next month

Next one is a a reg witch I will be using for parts as the y reg needs a few bits and was easyier to get a full car then find bits it needed this nova is Rotton

And last up is a b reg sr most of you would of seen of eBay, was a last min bid one nite at work this will be used though the summer and either restored or striped late in the year

I spoke to the lad today, and from what he has said, the camera loves that car and it isnt as clean as it seems unfortunately!

Although i did point him at Andy's restoration thread to see a properly rotten nova :eek:


But i dont want him to fix it as i want the clocks from it lol

I am sure you are right as it higher mileage than ours ! but it did have tax and MOT and therefore still a loss. It will make ours even rarer

3 novas! Like ur style, you'll never run short of spares. I bought a SR to run around in whilst the gte got some tlc, ended up also being a project lol. Keep up the good work.

Vessey - has the SR got a 1.4 engine in? It looked like it maybe did on ebay with squared off timing cover and bosch coil.

I say keep the SR - will be worth a fortune restored.

Yeah it got the 1.4nv init and it looking like it will get restored as just got a unit so plenty of storage now :) just abit annoyed with myself as it needs a bronze rear screen witch I have had 2 of in the past and sold one of them not so long ago so hopefully will be able to find another

if you do end up stripping the SR then i may be interested in the 3 spokes if you intended on selling them for my more door as i cant stand the 13" softstars i have on it at the min. and it apears your not too far from me. i do think its worth restoring though as early SR's seem to be becoming like rocking horse faeces... although around here, nova's in general seem to be rare in general.
im also loving that Y reg. cant wait to see that finished.

Me and my mate finish work 7 this morning got home and cracked on with the sr still a few bits left to do change rear bumper paint the bottom half grey and put the round lock boot on what you think?

been collecting some bits for the sr got a 1.3 on twin40s, ashley back box,brown parcel shelf and hopefully a bronze rear screen, on the look out for a beeter set seats if anyone has a set
