Was down to be Newcastle for a night out on Saturday. On the way home we went the scenic route through Northumberland national park. What a road...... 90 off miles of straights, twists and dips.
Was wishing I was in the mk1 and not my freinds 90bhp fiesta fully loaded :(
Anyone driven that road in there nova or even just a different weekend toy?

this has to be my personal favorite road, from in the depths of wales, can't wait to get the nova there!
The A68?
I remember when I bought my old nova from dundee the sat nav brought us that way, was so much fun!

The back road from edinburgh to Newcastle is a fun road but the speed cameras at the safest overtaking stretch is a pita
Should have joined the A686 at Penrith and hit the Hartside Pass too.

It was the A696 that leads on to the A68 so both :)
Yeah there was a few sneaky cameras lurking but was really surprised at how empty the road was for 97 miles , If I'm ever down that was again ill be taking the nova!
