Wiper motor no firewall??!!??

I need to put front wipers and motor on the nova but the firewall has been removed has anyone fitted these and what have they used and pics please

surely you would just need to make something where the original mount was?

If you get hold of a standard motor and linkage it will be apparent where it its to sit

It needs an mot Ben so what do you use?

I tried heaps of different options and then tried the cxorsa b set up...easy.

Wires straight in, it sits behind the battery, I had to put in an additional screw to support it.

The angle of the wipers was awkward, I used Skoda (can't rememeber what model-scrappy) and bent them to get the angle right.

Passed MOT and they have worked all year, no probs.

Ironically I have since welded in a fiorewall so I could have a heater without fumes!

I still use a corsa b set up. Has to shorten the whole thing as its to wide, the spindals thru the scuttle at the wrong angle so the wipe is crap and judders on the screen right in front of your face.
I dont know how others have got them to fit with out shorting them.
I shorted the sweap too...

Use the standard Nova linkage but mount the nova wiper motor inside the cabin area (Behind the glove box) with just the crank arm protruding into the engine bay - will see if I can find a picture

I first saw it on a euro nova with smoothed engine bay - it was a slightly neater installation but the end result was the same
