Been trying to work out how to replace/modify the hazard switch for a simple toggle switch actuation.
Anyone got any info about how to do it?

its not as easy as that. There are loads of connections at the back which make and break at different times. If you are having to ask how to do it, you should really just be looking to replace the switch with a working assembly.

I've had a bash at it with a spare broken switch earlier but wasn't 100% sure which contacts to bridge etc.

Prise it open, remove the two springs (they look like the sort you'd find inside a click on, click off ball point pen) and CAREFULLY put the switch back together. Putting it back togehter is the hardest part. Once you've done that, you have a pull on, push off switch.
