Where to run fuel tank vent?

I'm running my brake and fuel lines through the inside of the car. This leaves me with just the fuel tank vent hose which originally runs along side the brake lines to the passenger side arch where the carbon canister use to be.

I'm looking to avoid running it this route, is there somewhere I could run it to at the rear of the car?

Has anyone else done this?

Clip about 3ft of the OEM hose to the side of the tank around its external lip/edge. Done.

whatever you do, don't connect it to the sunroof drain.

That would be difficult, due to the lack of sunroof :-)
