I have just fitted leccy windows to my Nova and want to hook them up to my total closure alarm.

The alarm has a wire that stays live for a certain length of time (i think 30 seconds) after the alarm is set.

Will it burm the motors out being on for 30 seconds and the windows not moving?

ive heard something about this somewhere, there's something u can by that tells the windows motors if the window is up or down so it doesn't burn it's self out, on modern cars there is a sensor in the window rubber at the top so it knows when its up. Now i might be totaly wrong about this so forgive me if i am.

Someone else will know more about this..

yeah go to the bloke who fitted the alarm and get the box that controls them about ?60-70 to buy off the shelf normally, can be done for about a tenner if you know a fitter.
