Can anyone tell me what engine this is?
Is it an early/dizzy engine or a late/DISpack?

It has a flat flywheel (not pot type)
Air Flow Mass Meter has 7 pins

Anyone got the correct wiring loom for it?

It's a dizzy one,
What colour are the injectors? Cream or blue?

Cream where they join onto the loom, blue stems heading into the engine as per this photo:

Most likley the earliest type the 20XE

If you can still see the engine number the engine code is next to it.

The 20XE should have round tooth cam pulleys, cream injectors, no lambda sensor and a dizzy, also has a lighter crank and forged mahle pistons and the ECU code is FP

That's how my XE is and it was from a G reg astra GTE

The engine code stamped on the block says C20XE and then the engine number. The exhaust I got with it has a lambda sensor too.

Early XE. Mine has a lambda sensor and is on a dizzy.

Pete where is your lambda on your manifold?
Every other XE I hear has a lambda but mine doesn't just wondering if it should have one?

Near or just after where the pipes join into one section.

Its probably a bitsa. Same as mine, sourced bits from all over and lobbed it together
