Ive got a set of 15" Astra sport steels and i think they would look good banded with stretched tyres

but how much can i have them banded by and what kind of mods would need to be done to get them fitted and not have any running issues?

also has anyone got any pictures of a nova on these wheels (banded obversely ?

cheers

I think you can go i wide as u want on a loon, but dont think you can go any more wider than they are on the hatch m8 without serious arch moding, you would probly have to go wide arch

i dont mind cutting off the lips of the arches, but been warned off flairing them as its a pain in the **** job

Whatever you do, don't run staggered ET on FWD.

Why is this, just out of curiosity? Been wanting some for my astra van for a while and was gonna stagger them

Because wider tyres should be put on the driving wheels. On a FWD car, fitting wider tyres on the back makes you look like a plum that doesn't know which wheels do what, and fitting them on the front just looks daft lol

Meh, id still put wider ones on the back lol i just think it looks 'right'

Note there is nothing wrong from an engineering perspective to put wide wheels on the back of an FWD car... afterall with the tyres being stretched you arent exactly going to be setting F1 lap times round the town centre lol
