No for sure, they just quoted me on Friday and that was one of the questions I asked. Argue the value if you have a total loss was the answer I got.

Do you feel the car is worth more? If so, post up the details and some recent pictures and let PNG members have their say.
From an insurance company's perspective, if we over value vehicles on agreed value policies, we leave ourselves wide open to fraudulent claims.

Ollie, with the amount of money that this particular car has had spent on it over the years i suspect there's plenty of paperwork for it. ;)

Now with them, about £100 cheaper than Footman James renewal was.

Did the same with me. Was agreed at £8k last year and came back with £4k this year. Had a huge argument and they claim its because the mods are fairly old now so depreciate in value. No-one else insures my postcode competitively so had to accept it.
They however happily agreed the same value on my MR2 who's condition isn't a patch on the Nova. Just got the forms for MR2 renewal today so no doubt it will result in another disappointment.

Lee, if you keep the cars garaged, we may be able to help.

We have placed some exceptional risks around the area recently but not in 'M' postcodes. Car must be a second car, garaged, limited mileage, customer aged 25 or over etc
passes on all accounts !
I will send PM

Excellent advice here thank you! They were the only company who could beat flux and seemed very professional in doing so. Cheers Royston I owe you at beer!
Nick.
