i`m after some info i anyone knows anything about how you go about getting keys / immobiliser coded and rough costs?

there is a full lock set on egay for £45 but no point paying that if its 2-300 to get them coded.

just take your log book to peugeot and order a key, when i had my 306 7 years ago it was about £150 for a remote key

New keys are about £80 from Peugeot but you need the key code to buy one and the transponder code to get it to work.
You can request both codes from Peugeot, that will cost you another £20 if you dont have them.
The key will take about 7 days to arrive. It will unlock the car but not start it so you will need to get the car recovered to the garage to code it in.
We charge £42 for coding.

My stepdad took the dogs out this morning and managed to loose the only key in the snow and he has spent the rest of the day walking about fields trying to find them.

ive got lost key cover on my insurance, cost me £20 so before the policy ran out i rang and said i lost my keys as i only had 1 and they got me a new key, which would of cost £185 from vw
