As far i know, i have never worked on the SRi but i belive it is, they are a pain in the arse i know that much :!:
there are single and multipoint injection 1.4sri's.
Single is a load of shit. better off with a card.
Multi is a lot better. same to look at as a GSi but 1.4

all sris are multipoint, sure there was 1.4 singlepoint injection cars, but not sris.
and dont believe everything you read in haynes ;)
But Haynes is the Bible!
Fair enough. just that i have seen "SRi's" or cars that were formally SRi's in Ireland with SPi :? But if they were never made this way then thats that i guess :)
i thought all Nova 1.4 SRi's were spi, and only the 1.6 Novas and 1.4 Corsas were mpi???

C14SE was the SRI engine - which is multipoint injection
C14NZ was the SPi engine fitted to normal 1400 novas after j plate (ie not the sports models)
the C14NZ was also fitted to normal spec corsas and the C14SE was fitted to early corsa SRi's before they moved over to the 16v engines
