Ordering tyres for my comp mo5 6j x et49
Will 50 profiles be ok?
What do you guys run?
Cheers
I had 50s on mine with cesaros and they didn't rub, lowered on cheap coilovers.
45s if it's for the track tho;)

depends on how low your car is,
i would personally get the 45s as you defo wont have any rubbing issues
if you buy 50s then they rub you have to shed out for another set of tyres

45 or 50 is the profile, although all tyres are slightly different it is the width that will cause problems. Go for 185/55R15 if you are worried and have standard arches.
Like this man says..185/55 is a nice size on a Nova, looks near identical to 195/50

I think I am going to have to go down the 185/55 route as although my arches are rolled the 6x15" Irmscher rims are ET42.

Smart car tyres Rich. 165/50/15. They look fantastic.

165/50/15 are alright if it's snowing :-) 195/50/15 looks better imo

I've always preferred 195/45/15's on my alloys, they sit better for looks and you'll have less scrapping on the rears especially if your rear arches haven't been rolled. Make sure you get something with a flat tyre wall as well.
Edit: I know my old ones are Cav slabs but you get the idea for stance.

Cool I'm gonna order 2 195 45 then, now to decide what colour to get the rims powder coated

^ second that, 195 will most likely scrub on the rear arch lips

Shouldn't rub as it doesn't with the 195 45 16 speedlines I have on at the moment

It's an odd one, my arches are trimmed and rub with that size Speedlines!

I have 195/50/ r15 on a et 49 offset. It's rubs on the passenger front wing sometimes. Next time I'm fitting 185/50.
