View Full Version : It just disapeared, no really it did!

Yesterday i was topping my oil up and everything seemed great, went for a little drive, every thing fine.

Opened the bonnet and my cam cover had disappeared!

I guess its come off on a drive somewhere but i didnt notice anything, like a crunching noise when/if i drove over it!

Anyone know how much 1 of these are? its the plastic surround over the cam.

Do you mean the plastic surround that covers the cam belt?

how exactly were you topping the oil up or shouldn't we ask?

cam cover is the rocker cover not the bleedin cam belt cover, leave it off lets air get to it and cool it down reduces risk of snapping.

No probs Gazza, we all have to learn, I only know a few things about engines myself, I'm still learing about them :)
