Finally finished my flush boot yesterday, very pleased with my DIY spray job too. (1st time sprayer)

At the minute i am using a piece of rope to open the boot but ive got a solinoid in the post.

Its a supernovas planking plate which i used and it fit perfect. Heres acouple of pics:

Also been working on the interior, its getting there:

If anyone needs any help with the blanking plate, pm me. Also what do you lot think to it? The SR wrap around spoiler covers the edge of the plate wikidly, was well chuffed with it.

cheers

Why have you cut down the bottom of the spolier? it looks odd. the tailgate looks good though

the blanking plate goes up the sides of the tailgate, i tried putting the spoiler on top of it but it stuck out too much, i think it looks odd at first because from what ive seen its not been done before.

Just need to finish moving the Number plate light.

im afriad i agree with spoiler

BUT!!!!!

on a lighter note, you have made such good job of boot from the pics, why dont you put your skills to good use and blend spoiler in at the bottom.........

food for thoughts anyway

that would look a minter

the boot looks great, but again, blend the bottom of the spoiler.

Have a word with Slimjim, he can do a nice false floor for the back of your car, then you can attach the harnesses into the lower seatbelt mounts and not the side ones.

seats look similar to mine and tillys?

clubmans?

i dont care what anyone says, clubmans may be the most basic and probly the budget range, BUT for looks i dont think there much beaten. things like rally seats and the ones that have neck / head braces wouldnt look right in most cars. unlike chris_ts where they look at home.

buy yourself another spoiler mate

cost you ?15 MAX

nice spray job.

I agree with the spoiler cutting - looks like a bloke wearing half mast trousers

Needs to be feathered in to the sides (sand thin then meet up with a skim of filler.
You can get 2nd hand mk1 spoilers for ?5.00 - just sand the sides back (fibreglas so wont rot) - touch up edges and sit spoiler over it.

Nice work though. Boot will be good when finished
