Getting ready to fit my engine into the nova and needing some help with the water hoses. Found the diagram below but not sure where the hose with the red arrow is connecting into.

Also, does the N/S hose connecting into the heater matrix need to go to the side of the block and the O/S to the 1st outlet on the plastic water pipe as per the diagram? I found another diagram and it shows a different set up

In the top pic, the hose from the inlet/tb should be T peiced back in to theoutlet from the rad top hose.

In the bottom pic, i have as do most i think have the hose from the side of the head going to the right hand matrix port, then the left have matrix port doing to the plastic water bar.

In the top pic (which is correct btw) there is an outlet for water on the end of the inlet manifold, the pipe comes from that and it runs under the inlet manifold, round to the side and you T into the return from the top of the radiator, the small one!

Very vague pic but you can just see the water pipe on the edge of the left hand manifold in this pic..

Thanks for the reply's....I took a look at it again last night and drew the attached sketch below. Does this look right. Basically I found the small pipe on the end of the inlet manifold. A rubber hose runs from this to the 3 piece connection on the TB. The opposite end of the 3 piece connection has a rubber hose coming out which I will T piece into the hose between the header tank and radiator. Does this sound right?

Yes. That's how it should be.
