Rear door cards

I've seen this on a few novas now and it's really starting to bug me on mine. The vinyl has come away from the actual door card it's self so there is no indent where there should be. is there any way to fix this? I though about using a heat gun to stretch/melt it back but have a feeling I might just end up splitting or tearing it.

Heat material with a hot air gun, inject glue with a hyperdermic needle and push back against door card, i would use a clamp and a rolled rag/tea towel to hold it overnight.

It's possible, but unlikely that the heat will reactivity the glue underneath.

Or peel are large amount back near the ash tray and spray glue between the vinyl and door card
