Driving along yesterday and the engine just seemed to cut out as if it had ran out of petrol...
Right, check there's fuel getting upto the rail? "x16xe" yeah and good pressure.
Checked for a good spark, Yeah.

But she wont run... it fires when you cranking it over just wont jump into life... sounds asif its out of fuel? "its not lol"

Anyone had this? or any idea's on what it could be :( im really confused... spent today checking over earth's and plugs.. all looks fine!

Forgot to mention, if you spray easy start into the intake, it will run on that.. which indicates to me fuel problem? but i cant find one :S

Id say thats an electrical fault, should it or did it have an immobiliser when it was in the original car (engine i mean)

Yeah, its got an immobilizer, but its strange how it was fine, and its now suddenly stopped? :/ hmm.

Fuel pumps working fine.. sparking?

Id be checking your immobiliser, see if any wiring has come astray, it sounds electrical?

When youre cranking it over, can you smell unburnt fuel coming out the exhaust?

Yeah it seems to be getting plenty of fuel you can smell it... but its also sparking? :S which in my eyes would say it should start... it if was an immobiliser issue it wouldnt spark?

Checked the fuel feed today, builds up pressure comes out fine... checked the return, not blocked :/
Fuel filter is clean... fuel pumps working as the feed line works....
