i,ve just inherited a 1.2 l 1988 model i believe from an aunt who had it imported from britain as a new car it is a very rare thing in this part of the world the engine is tired and the cost of getting parts from the uk would be very expensive indeed i believe the engine is similar to the australian holden camira 1.6 and 2 litre unit built here in melbourne called a family 2 engine it is also fitted to the nissan pulsar pontiac le mans daewoo espero and 4 cylinder commodore does anyone out there have bore + stroke measurements for the range of engines fitted to the nova as that will help me in sourcing parts locally and it would be nice to have a bit more power under the bonnet the daily driver at the moment is a 1964 viva

edit that... they onlt do it in 1.6..

the 2.0 8v family 2 engine will fit with a few mods

also your 1.2 engine is closely related to the barina many parts are interchangeable
