View Full Version : Stolen wheels Cornwall
While Russ and I were out playing a Combe some little c***s decided they'd break into Russ' garage and rob his wheels.
one set of 530d rims which imo will be hard to trace but the others are bright yellow ronals, in 5 stud Vaux fitment.
here are said wheels

I search E39 parts daily. Do you know exactly what they were?
Most likely either M-paralells or BBS style 5's.
what scum nick alloys these days, in the 90s yes, ffs wee tramps
Get on to all local scrap metal merchants as its likely they will b weighed.in
Russ is pretty friendly with the local scrappy. being as he is a vaux specialist. lol
Thieving fcukers. At least the Ronal wheels should be fairly easy to spot - keep an eye out for black ones though as you can guarantee they'll rattle can them, black being the easiest colour.

Craig says some oiks tried nicking the cav wheels when it was down there, said they removed 3 wheel bolts on each wheel but left the locking ones. Muppets

Both threads now stickied in car talk and the other in general chat over on MIGweb. Few others have also posted via FB. Hope you get something out of it.

Hope you get them back pal.......pikeys
i didn't think they were worth enough to simply weigh in...maybe a visit to any local alloy wheel places might be in order..
Now on Vauxhall Drivers Club, we have quite a few members in the South West!
why the **** would dick heads go to the trouble ffs. hope who ever nicked them dies

I tell my mate to keep he's eyes open he lives in cornwall
What scum bags
These have been found in a lock up in Exeter along with loads of other stolen stuff. Unfortunately they can't prove the people renting the lock up actually stole them so no one is getting charged. But at least Russ is getting both sets back. :)

Fantastic news!
Did they damage his yard or the undersides of the cars at all?

I love these finding things again thread :thumb: Russ 1 scroat 0
No damage was done to the cars surprisingly and the police had the gang/lock up under survalience, that's how they found them. As soon as they spotted the yellow wheels they knew who's they were.
they wasn't stolen for scrap as there was 4 odds cars with alloys on and they didn't get touched but in all fairness for thieving scum they jack them up well and they was no damage until we went to put some wheels on his 530 and it slipped of the jack and dented the sill. hopefully there in the same condition when the police return them

It helped the police find the owner quicker.
