Revotec Radiator Thermostat

Hi

Has anybody any experience of the Revotec Rad Thermostat as below?

I run a standalone slimline fan & at the moment its controlled by a copper thermostat in the top hose which is a pig to seal so was looking at these but dont really know much about them.
Any info appreciated

Cant you use the std set up? Its not controled by the ecu or anything... Easy sealing and that...
