So we've all seen saloons with hatch box type arches, but has anyone ever put loon round arches onto a 3rd hatch before?
Don't think I've ever seen it.

Guess I'd need to see the finished thing before making judgement, but I think round arches suits the saloons better. They seem to make the back of the car look longer, but that might just be the illusion given by a lack of rear bumper.

Something i have always wanted to do. Like a baby mk1 Astra.

I even got to the point of chopping the quarters off a mk1 saloon, but they ended up going in the scrap.

Well if done properly like the car above, it could make wheel and lowering options so much more varied etc, an it looks alright..

As nice as it is, and all the effort that went in really shows, it still has two sets of arches and that just looks wrong.

The arches on this actually look alrite, as they have removed the hatch rear quarters and fitted full saloon ones rather than just chucking on round arches.

That said they have removed one of the Nova hatches best features.....the boxy arches.

so, as i asked before, has anyone got pics of a 3dr hatch with the boxy arches widened by about an inch by cutting the flares & widening them with metal infill??

Ive always thought this in a hatchback would look good. maybe not with the smoothed arches tho.

It would have to be dead low, base spec bumpers and deep dish minilights.
