View Full Version : How do I remove all car windows without damaging them ?

As it says in the title just looking for some tips or a thread of how to do so as i cant seem to find one ? :)

I always use a large headed flat screwdriver to gently pop the rubber seal in behind the metal frame that holds them in. Never broken any nova glass :)

Edit: this only refers to nova glass. 99% of other cars the glass is bonded in lol

does it damage the seals ?

it wont damage the seal but if your that worried get all new seals and just cut the seal and pop the windows out

Get afew quids worth of 2 pence peices. Go round with a thin flat screw driver pushing the seal in then put a 2p in to hold it back about every 4". Do that all the way round then gently push the window out.
Done hundreds of windows this way and havent broken one yet and itkeeps your seals in good condition.
