car keeps revin again...sat at traffic lights and will just start revin its self...will sit there at 2k then i stomp on the pedel and will revs will fall for a while then will happen again
any ideas?...realy anoyin!!

have you been flogging your car 2nite ? if you have it could have loosened something on your carb if not then your carb might be dodgy or nackerd
sounds like auto choke prob as i dont kno wot car u have i obviously dont kno if this is possible but thats wot i would think

Check your vacum pipes.

and your main big thick air hose connecting air flow meter and throttle body for splits. usually where it concetenas up out of sight, pesky things
you have a sticky throttle body sensor.
that little black box that sits behind the throttle body
i have the same problem sometimes don't undo the screws just try and spray a bit of wd40 down the back and keep opening the throttle

is it ok sprayin wd40 down past the flap of throttel body?/

sorry i mean't the pin that goes into the switch just double check that the switch is not loose or it maybe best to re adjust it

sounds like an air leak to me
air is leaking past the AFM so engine is running lean and hot so it runs faster
check the secondary air valve on the back of the cam housing
