It's going into body shop for delock, respray (silk violet) and other bits n bobs next week so it will be totally spanky!

Very nice, I'm liking that rear splitter alot, I've been thinking of a way to attach the GTE lip I have sitting in my shed to my GSi rear bumper and I still haven't come up with a way that I'd like (And I've been thinking about it for about 2 years now!!!)

this was the nova i was talking about i seen in me town the other month and tried to track down the colour must say for silk viloet theres a big difference in shades between dave and that one
ade wheres dougie taking it too hers should be getting down with in a couple of weeks
his fiance's brothers owns a body shop -getting all the work done for ?100!
read right!
think he used to work for vauxhall...so still has the contacts
Jules - I attached my GTE splitter to me mk bumpoer using small self tappers - had to shorten it though and plastic weld it (use bumper filler and epoxy resin) - need to cut about an inch or so from the middle and then fill the towing eye on the splitter coz it wont line up - like mine below...

Just what I want to do, do you have any bigger pics or ones directly from behind? If so could you send 'em my way please (julian.sumner@ntlworld.com) cheers in advance.
I wasn't aware that it need shortening in the middle? Thought it looked the same width as the MK1 bumper, I guess the shape of it makes all the difference.
I'll have to find someone who can plastic weld now............
