Evening chaps just used the guide on here to drill holes for my sri spoiler but the 4 threads wont go through the second skin of the boot.

Is there some sort of long nut or bolt that goes on to this. As im not convinced window bonder alone will be enough to keep it on.

Did call autovaux asking if they had the nuts / bolts but they were as much use as no use.

The spoiler studs should be long enough to go go through both skins, if not then they have been cut,

Damn it, was thinking that was the case.

Was considering drilling and grinding the remaining studs off ( carefully ) and using self tappers. Got the spoiler off my mate as a freebie so cant complain too much really. lol

Are you quite sure they aren't long enough? it really is just a small amount of thread that sticks through, so you really need to have the spoiler position just right and have the right kind of small nuts to go on the threads.

I'll fire a pic up tomorrow. I drilled the first skin with an 8mm bit and the second with a 5mm ( thick enough for the thread to go through the second skin). Unless its a long thin nut that goes up catches on the thread?

Is there a thread on the end of the studs or just plain
