Fair few pages on it, but there's quite a few pics of european hillclimbers etc on there, and they normally have some fairly nice graphics etc on them.

Since yours is white though, the 'racing chips' is a pretty classic vauxhall scheme

Google images also proves Cleland was a nutjob :)

Considering you'd be challenging Colins hillclimber for the Nova with the largest pair of 'nads on here, go for the holden style if you like it imo

The Dealer Sport colours flying chips look great. A lad I know had them on his Nova Sport many moons ago and it looked sh!t hot.

Maybe a different selection of colours may personalise it a bit :)

There was a slightly different take on that design on a UK rally car, possibly a Mk3 GSi and it looked even better. All the coloured chips were slightly bigger and flying up from the front wheels.

Only reference I can find at the moment.

lol @ the durex one and the HKS scheme on the Vectra works brilliantly; testament to the strength of a limited palette & abstract repetition.

If I had to guess what a full car set would be, assuming you held the .eps file[s], maybe around 700 - 800 pounds. That's cutting and laying it all up yourself too.

You could choose to do certain bits at a time, based on time / expertise / budget / who you know; the roof, just the sides or bonnet like I've started with:-

I have always thought the colour scheme of the dealer sport cars was suited to white cars. Here are some pics of the red blue yellow scheme done in a different way.

I really want this style on my rally car when i start using it for stage rallies. Saw a mk2 astra with similar decals and it looked the part!

The 2008ish era Valvoline holden livery was ace and would suit a nova nicely

How about the DTV Chevette? Simple yet iconic:

Always like the 1992-93 works colour splashes on the Cavaliers and rally Astras of the period:

SOmeone at the VSCC has a Nova in those 2000 Vectra colours:

It was actually based on the Astra Mk4 kitcar rather than the Vectra..

This is the main colour scheme (from 2000 season I think)..

http://www.jcmr.u-net.com/history/images/autofocus00/higgins.jpg

but with the early car vauxhall logo rather than the "Vauxhall" or "Astra" in text.. (from the 1999 season car)

Oh and thanks :-)

Paul..
