Have recently done a top end rebuild due to head gasket going, my mate done the rebuild for me, it's turning over but will not fire, it's getting fuel to it, any ideas why it won't fire people?

Are you getting any spark? Has the head been skimmed? Any damage to the valves? Could be a load of things. Have you cleared any fault codes on the Ecu? Have you made sure the CTS is working? Timing out? mmm plenty of things could be wrong!

Cts shouldn't stop it running, neither will valves, unless there are a load bent!The only sensors that will prevent it firing are fuel pump relay and crank sensor really... So if you're getting fuel it won't be the crank sensor, or fuel relay or any ecu fault. It has to be spark related. Unless of course you've timed it wrong and bent valves!
