Variations with X14Xe and C14NV Block

Can anyone tell me if the 8v head will fit a 16v block or am i better off putting the pistons and rods into the 8v block. Im looking for about 12:1 compression.

8v head will fit the 16v block, you''ll need to deck the block and notch the pistons to get close to 12:1 though.
