I havent been able to look for them yet but i assume its somewhere on the floor or bottom of the bulk head. It seems to be the climate control on this particular vehicle that 'Auto' means 'mist up the windows' i imagine theres condensation sitting on a tray thats not getting away and then flashing off in the heat.

Can someone tell me where it is so i can direct them to the location?

thanks

thank you,

That is access to the tray, so hopefully there will be loads of water sat in there to explain the misting issue. there must be an external drip-drain tube somewhere surely? it was this i was thinking might be blocked.

that is good info for cleaning it out once ive finally drained it.

I'm using Firefox with google translate on it so that may be the problem.

It's the 7th link on this CLICKY (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Corsa+C+Air+conditioning+condensate+drain +location&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-beta)

from memory, the drain tube comes out of the firewall next to or near where the gear shift linkage comes out. it's a rubber tube that has the end pinched into a slit.

perfect! if its anything like the pinched end tubes under the battery trays/scuttles of Corsa B+Cs then it will be sludged up and choked.

cheers!

Found it. It was as above where the linkage penetrates the bulkhead....but it wasn't blocked :(

Maybe Corsa's are just supposed to steam up.

it seems to be a "newish" thing.
My mk5 astra is absolutely terrible for it.
I have steam cleaned the full interior, changed the pollen filter twice in between services, and its still abysmal.

im glad its not just this car but annoyed its common. its verging on dangerous. one minute its fine then it suddenly and almost instantly fogs up causing you to have to drop the windows and turn off the heating. seems to be worse when the climate control is on auto.

Yeah,i can totally relate to that.
I even tried an old paintballing goggles trick-used neat fairy liquid on a rag with barely any water, then scrimmed it clean.
Was marginally better for a few days, but is now back.
