Needing info as am kinda lost. Trying to get my engine running after a rebuild. It turns over and sounds like it going to go. Timing marks are correct with tdc being where no1piston is just bout to go down as book says. Using a facet fuel pump with no regulator and when a whipped the plugs out they were black and stinking of petrol. Could it be over fuelling? And is it wise to use a regulator?:confused:
