X16XE rev limiter issue.

Got my x16xe running today, took it for a test drive, and it seems to hit the limiter really early? I'd say around 3.5-4k? Cant tell because no rev gauge.. But anyone else had this?

What car is it, what engine management and what fuel pump?

Its in limp mode for some reason. Check all your sensors etc. when it happened on mine it was cos the knock sensor had come unplugged

Ive put the x16xe into my 1.2 carbed nova, And its running a mk3 astra mpi fuel pump

Check crank sensor had the same problem on 2 x16xe engines

My EGR valve isnt connected as its got the blanking plate, this will chuck up the eml light?... But would that put it in limp mode.. also do i need to wire in the diagnostics plug in?..
