I have sold my 195 50 15 Kumho V70 track tyres & iam after now some 195 45 15 road tyres, but what to go for?
Not bothered about the wet as my nova don't come out in the wet, not bothered about wear rate as I only do upto 1000 miles a year, not so bothered about cost either.
Was thinking of Toyo T1R's but what are people's experiences & what would people go for please?

Thanks.

I ran Goodyear eagle f1's in this size on my cav for a while, good dry weather grip, average at best in the wet, but never bad enough to feel dangerous.

Had the Goodyears on my Golf GTTDI & wasn't overly impressed.

+1 on the Toyo Proxes T1R's. When I was looking for some it was between them and the Uniroyal Rainsport 2's but if you don't use the car in the rain then go for the T1R's!

The rainsport 2 is very good in the dry too

Do you need a nice rounded side wall for clearance?

T1R's for me.

Another vote for T1R's here, run them on the MR2 and really rate them.
