theres a rule book which gives you the basics, you can do the sport on a budget but i've ended up ploughing thousands into it, i darent even add up how much this ones cost

I'm guessing this was the Scunthorpe test day at Blyton? Looks as if it went well for you. We wanted to have the F600 ready for this but were still a long way off! Lol

We've got all the chassis welded up and painted. Just got to reassemble it, wire it up, re pannel it, shorten the axle and add some 100mm cv flanges and finally shorten a drive shaft. So still got our work cut out! I've applied for my liscence though so I have the shared number of ST15 with my mate who owns the car.

Can't imagine how quick that thing of yours is though, because bloody hell does the 600 shift! Lol

If your ever racing at Nottingham I'm sure we'll meet as we're only looking at doing the local races for now for a bit of fun. Good work on getting it all done and a successful test dy under your belt :)

yes it was scunny, shame you didn't get the car ready, it was a decent day, sounds like you have a fair bit left!, the video does the speed no justice at all, by the end of the day out of every corner it was picking up the front wheels, the start in that video wasn't even full throttle and was in second! i'm sure i'll be at some nottinghams this year, i'll let you know :)

this is how i felt.

just because those wheels have reasonably big centers, and the disks are made as small as possible with bike calipers

The disk isnt round if that helps you spot it benn lol

So almost 700bhp per ton!! Are you actual mental?

Benn

Ah ok. Was gonna say if you didn't you'd be fully mental.

in basic terms... i think so yes. especially beings as it's the equivalent of a locked diff beings as both chains run to a common shaft that the driveshafts come off the end off! i have plans to get it down santapod one day lol, i just looked it up, the 0-60 of the standard bike is 3.7 seconds, at a guess on dirt taking into consideration the extra power from the 2 engines, but the loss from weight and the fact it's on dirt, i'm guessing it'll be somewhere nearer 4

Whats it geared like? Have you worked out the theoretical top speed?

it's running a pair of the original sequential bike box's, i don't know about the sprockets imbertween, but it's running 15"s which iirc was what the bikes ran, so it must be somewhere near origional?

Not sure if it was a Class 8 or 10 but one of them took some speed record a couple of years ago - was it indoor 0-60 acceleration or indoor land speed record or something?

it was phill cooper in a class 9, broke the indoor land speed record taking it off top gear who used an f1 car, and it has only just been retaken by top gear america in ken blocks fiesta iirc
