sorry don't want to disagree with brian but i understand the 2 litre 8v goes straight in no messin bout except 4 the drivers side engine mount which u just attach 2 the engine lower till the engines level then drill the new holes into the chassis leg.

ur biggest problem is goin 2 b the wirin as ur car won't have ne injection wirin, not a big prob just a pain in the arse runnin it all. also the fuel lines will need changin and the fuel pump.

it is a pretty straight forward job

2 main things,

1.if u have a digi cam take pics of evrithin b4 u remove nethin then u have reference points 4 when ur not sure.

2. label all wires n list where they go

hope this helps

it s the same as a 2L16v to bolt in. drivers side mount and rear mount same setup as valver. look at the site i recommended

the lower mount can be bought for the drivers side but if im painting the bay then i normally cut it out and drop it and weld it up for the "factory look"! lol

would it be easier to do away with the injection system and replace it with twin webbers carbs??

carbs would b an option but can present more option if ur not sure of wot ur doin. probably better to put the injection on get it runnin then change the fueling system once it's sweet
