I have a tin of paint which looks to be 200-300ml I'm needing a match on it to paint my car due to paint reacting,

The colour of my car is silk vilot/ something else

The person that painted it mixed 2 colours together for some unknown reason

Any info would be good

I saw your thread regarding the problem which in my opinion would require the area to be taken back to the bare metal to guarantee it not returning in the future. The ideal scenario would be a full repaint in the proper colour but if you just want the roof rectifying then I would have your painter body up the repair in a similar colour then use what came with the car to overcoat it before lacquering. The only thing I'd check is whether solvent or water base coat have been used as you will be best off using the same as what you have for the bodying of the repair. The smell will tell your painter as soon as the tin is opened. Hope this helps.

Nick.

Thanks mate I was thinking of painting another colour but at the moment I Think I might just get roof done for this summer and then see what happens for next year, either way I am going to have to get it re-painted at somepoint in the future tho cheers
