As above does any one know the size of the hinge pin so as I can purchase a removal tool.

I always use 8mm threaded rod to remove them.
Can buy a meter length in any hardware store.
Its handy as you can bend it away from the door to stop it scratching your paint

Have you tried CPA I got a kit from them a few years back . Hope this helps
Just use a bonnet stay with the ends cut off, perfect size
as already said piece of bonnet stay
cut the end off an old screwdriver an weld it to it then you can give the handle a good whack
or buy a universal pin removal tool from a motor factors, it will have the right size bit in it. also remember to jack up the outer end of the door a little (use a rag on top of the jack to protect it) this is cos the pins always wear in an offset & if you don't, they are a bitch to remove

Get a long 13mm bolt and grind the thread off,
