Does anyone know how to plumb in a hydraulic handbrake into a corsa b with the normal braking system on it?
I have a cable hand brake connected and want to leave that on and have the vertical hand brake for easy access and quickness in a rally car.

I posted a thread in articles, have a search mate, shows the plumbing diagram

just so you know a hydralic handbrake will fail an mot but so long as you keep the cable one you will be fine

you cant because of the diagonal split on the std brakes. you will have to re plumb them so the split is front and rear.

agreed. check for a load sensing valve connected to the rear beam too if you are planning to connect it up close to the handbrake lever.

A lot of modern rally cars just use 2 cylinders in the line

is there no way of running rear calipers with two feeds and using one feed for foot brake on the diagonal split system and the other feed for the handbrake?

might be talking :tard: please ignore if i am in my intoxicated mind it works :tard:

You would have to run 2 sets of calipers to do that

there is no way round this, if you really want to change the F/R bias then relocate the load sensing valve to inside the car and make it adjustable.

If you just want to do hand brake turns in Maccy D's then you will have to consider if its worth re-piping the brake lines. Not a massive job, but you will gain a H-brake and have to live with some pretty unbalanced brakes
