Anybody know if Vauxhall Tech II equipment is capable of resetting airbag control modules which are locked in crash mode? I know of a company which can do it but you have to post the unit away to them and if i can do it with tech II itl be easier/cheaper

I would imagine it can be done with a tech 2 but only with a permission dongle in other words a main dealer jobbie

Cheers. A mate of mine has tech 2, ive just spoke to him and he thinks he can sort it so hopefully i wont have any expensive main dealer bills!

iirc you can swap them about, so long as the identifier code is right..done a few for some guys that did damaged repairables a few years back but its been a while!!
