Driveshaft trouble

Hey guys av got a mk two gsi nova with a 2.0xe engine the Hirt shaft has snapped it's seemingly ment to be a 300bhp shaft how can I tell if this is correct? Also if it is that shaft where can I get a replacement? What cv joints r used on the shaft and does it require diffrent hubs?

I'm sure he means the half shaft ie the drive shaft .
Has the shaft snapped or has the CV broke ?.

I guess it depends how much torque you put through it rather than the power.

I ment drive shaft I have snapped the short driveshaft it's running standard power

Do you actually know what driveshafts you're running??
Aftermarket? Or mish mash of GM bits?

Sites that if u put better shafts in u hav to replace the hubs aswell

The shafts thwt were o the car where bigger diameter so the inner cv was a2, 0 cv and then the shaft thinned out to compensate for the 1-6 outter cv ijuwt got a set of bigger shafts to find this out
