Can anyone confirm for me if the Astra gte disck braked rear axel is a direct bolt on replacement for the nova rear axel?

Sure yours isn't a nova axle converted to discs with Astra hubs?

Pretty sure an Astra is a touch wider than a nova,

Yes it's an Astra axel they are wider but I think the extra width its after the fixing points so doesn't effect the mounting of the axel

Have you got an Astra axel or fitted one mate? Only need to know if they use the same mounting point to the body

I've never seen or heard of anyone using a complete rear axle from an Astra gte on a nova,

You say that yours bolted straight on, if so all you need to check is alignment for the springs and shocks, if you are running wide arches then wheel fitment isn't a concern.

Get the measuring tape out.

The only parts I used from the Astra axle were the hubs and brakes, I also added the anti roll bar aswell which was good in the dry, in the wet lift off oversteer was a bit of an issue though.
