Its suppoed to be used on all Vauxhalls to stop pulling the column apart.

I really need to buy a proper vaux one as the others just dont do it, people dont realise what damage hitting the centre of the column does.

very true. very easy to caus it to collapse. just luck really if it doesn't from whacking it :?

I tried the draper version - poo - striped the threads on the puller first time

When I was stripping the interior of my old GSi, me and Rick D tied a rope around the steering wheel and then attached the other end to the back of a transit van. I then floored it up my drive in the transit, but it just lifted the front of my car off the ground(the rope came out the boot) and crushed the middle of the steering wheel!!! it was at that point we gave up trying to remove the wheel!! lol!

lol will we tryed to get tims gsi steering wheel off, cud'nt do it even with the fucking puller, ended up taking it to vaux and letting them do it, waste of ?5 but never mind!!

I went to the Vaux main dealers, and they let me borrow theirs for free.
