hi all, im going to try and attempt to heat wrap my manifold for a c20xe, just wanted to know whats your tips and tricks as never done it before

But seriously I allways soak the wrap in a bucket of water makes it more plyable
wear gloves or you will have sore itchy hands for a while. some people wet the wrap before fitting but i did my one dry and it is fine.

just out of curiosity, did the clips come with the wrap?

yes mate, i bought mine from pvs a couple of years ago just never used it. i think you can get them clips from halfrauds
cheers for the other replies. i didnt know you had to wear gloves lol once done ill put a pic up of how i got on
i find that any form of heat insulation is an irritant of some sort, and should be handled very carefully. unless you are wetting it, i'd also say to use a mask
