Might be worth asking on corsa-c.co.uk. You might be able to email regal and see if they can give you one. There must be millions out there its basicaly the corsa Sri.

thanks for your help. thats a good guide, but its corrected figure (flywheel power) i might try the corsa forum but i will need to register.

the Z12XE or P would be just as helpful if anyone has.

I have the Z14XEP in my Meriva - its about 85bhp (and very underpowered in a Meriva)

This engine will be for sale shortly so if you need one give me a shout!

Here you go Mr Lover, taken from here TOUCHME (http://regalautosport.wordpress.com/2009/12/16/corsa-c-z14xep-dbilas-turbo-stage-ii-street-sleeper/)

The Z14XEP powered car was originally brought to us by the customer wanting a modest power increase in the form of the Dbilas flowmaster and intake manifold. This saw power lifted from the factory figure of 88bhp to a more than healthy 115bhp at the flywheel.

how can a 16 valve have the same power as the 14 8v

more valves dosent mean more power!! FFS.

With all the emissions cr@p that goes onto engines these days with pre cats and main cats and egr valves and the rest then the 16v part just brings the engine back up to what has been lost because of the emissions legislations.

I just presumed with the 20seh being around 130bhp and the later c20xe having more valves having 150bhp.

That was in the days before the EU emissions rules started to create problems.

which when you look at the percentage gain, its quite a poor upgrade for the cost...

the baby ecotec 1600 design was delivered to gm from cosworth with 150hp.. then the emissions rules changed, so lotus was paid to stifle it to 109hp...... so tuning it is simply a case of removing all the added on rubbish....

Or in lageR's case, getting dilbert to make over priced stuff to pretend its an improvement when In reality other stuff woud have been better and cheaper.

come on, you can't blame reg & al, they simply remove the stuff from a box & fit it using the instruction leaflet, then they get the bingo machine out to work out the costs..... which is pretty much what most engine tuners do

Yep, but dilbert are utter ****e bags of the tuning world.
