it it's a mk1 then smash the surround mk 2 make a 'U' shaped thingamagig from coat hanger wire

if its a mark 2 car then put your hand up from behind the passengers side foot well and push it out from behind, this way you wont damage the surround to the stereo. can be done on a mk 1 as well but you need thin arms!

iv tried dat but it wont budge it seems like theres sumthink at the back holding it in........so fustrating!

could be a nut on the back bolted to the rear of the dash, have a feel around, if not the cage might be holding it in, if so remove the stereo without the cage then bend the cage inwards to remove this.

Like Ben says is it a MK1 or a Mk2? There's no real trick to this but a deturmined setting of your jaw.

Where abouts are you from? I'm sure some lovely person will come and do it for you.

Alternitvely the whole centre console below the stereo comes apart, if you look just underneith the stereo you'll see 2 holes. These have screws in them, just undo them and it'll give you easier access to the stereo.

i tried for bout an hour but it wouldnt but it wouldnt budge. i dont want to break her car so its goin down to the garage asap :D:D:D
