wheres Kirk Mcsporran's old nova now - J993 EAU

On the look out for my mates old nova was sold in 2011 and went up Scotland somewhere?
Heres what it used to look like,

i dought its dead yet
the tax only ran out end of last year so there is a chance that theve just not sorned it yet .

yeah hope soo and if the new owner put a private plate on it would that make it unsure on the old reg ?

thats good news hopefully it got a private plate on it, and they wouldn't scrap it with private plate on so surely that why the it not coming up as scrapped ?

If it has a private plate on, it wouldnt come up under its original plate on DVLAs computer. Therefore it is still on the original plate.

Once a certificate of destruction is issued, they are usually removed from the DVLA computer - that hasnt happened yet as it is still showing up.

Its possible someone just hasnt bothered sorning it for winter - but if thats the case I would expect a fine to be in the post by now from DVLA

For recent unlicensed (last few years) it would not be recorded as unlicenced at DVLA if it was certified scrapped or is located in NI- it just would not be listed at DVLA at all (would come up as not found).
The most likely explanation is that it has been sold on 06/10/2012 to the motor trade either for resale or at a scrapyard ready to be scrapped (no certicate of destruction yet issued) when it would appear as unlicenced.
Up to date 06/10/12 it could have been SORN or Licenced - there is no way of telling off the DVLA website.
Licences and SORN expire at the end of months and therefore definately not unlicenced because either SORN or Licence expired

(if much older unlicenced then there are lots of other possibilities)

yeah kirk sold it to neil which is my brother and then sold it after a month

Ah, i remember him having it advertised, i think i expressed my interest in it at the time.
