Heater Problems

Can anyone give me any advice.

Basically the heater on my SRi has decided that it only wants to work on setting 3 and not 1 and 2.
I have tried a new switch to see if that was the problem however still no movement.

If anyone has any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated.

the resistors will have failed.

yeah, replace the speed resistors... either with a new pack or by fitting some high power resistors from the likes of RS/Farnell/Maplins

the chances are they've just corroded and need re crimped. 2 resisters failing together is unlikely. do all the usual checks for broken wires before buying new pieces.
