Re route the wiring? Loom wrap? What is better looking? I havn't really done this before i'm not so clued up on it,any pictures of nova bays would be fantastic, also info on what is involved/best/easiest/more practical to do.... cheers!

Get a donor loom and lengthen yours. Run it behind the inner wings etc.

Novas are a lot easier than many cars, thanks to the bulkhead. Run a Corsa servo and m/c maybe even stick thr header tank in there. Get yourself a scuttle cover and you're laughing.

I only had the wiring from the headlights/radiator loom running along the passenger inner wing in the engine bay. (No engine loom on otherside to worry about, aftermarket ECU/Wiring)
So i cut it halfway along (near header tank) took the passenger side wing off then fed the bottom half of the wiring through slam panel over headlight into the outside of the inner wing. Then i fed the top half back through the bulkhead hole into the passenger footwell that outside through the side repeater hole, inner wing. Then using same gauge cable (i just used one reel of black wire) i soldered wires like for like to meet back up (extending them) insulating them one at a time after soldering. Once done, battery back on tested , if all ok - insulated them altogether into one complete loom again then split convoluted/conduit all the way along (from inside passenger footwell to connections at passenger headlight. Only modification needed is to cut a semi circle out of the edge of the slam panel where it meets the outer passenger wing (on inside).
Whilst i was at it i relocated the loom from the topside of the slam panel to the underside. Again with split convoluted/conduit tubing then sticky U clips to hold it upright. I pinch about 3 inches of exhaust wrap i had spare to wrap around where the loom touched the radiator at one point (ott tbh) As long as the split convoluted/conduit tubing you use has good temperature properties shouldnt have any problems.
Ill try find some pics..

as most have said, take what you can down the passenger wing. i used conduit to cover up any wires that i didnt hide, ive got my engine loom going through the brake pedal cap on the lower bulkhead, was a top tip off edd.

mine isnt the most hidden as i never intended to do as insane as benn, but is tidy enough.

Here the loom has been cut then the lower part already fed through slam panel, over headlamp out into arch, see it hanging in front of axel stand. Top other half of loom hasnt yet been fed back into the passenger footwell, it still drapes over inner wing near suspension turret..

Loom soldered up, tested, finished; insulated all into one. During conduit fitting.

Loom was then p-cliped as high up as possible; note how loom at that stage goes around edge of the slam panel, bottom left of pic. Stopping the outer wing from fitting back on.

Here is the semi-circular cut i then had to make, i used silicone around the hole so the loom stayed in place, so i could trap it with the outer wing. The wooden box was holding it in place whilst silicone set.

Ive no pics of how i attached the loom to underside of slam panel. All this shows is that the loom dangles down from underneath it. You can spot a bit of the conduit of the loom around the top of the square bonnet catch hole..?

Alls i'll say is its pretty straight forward to do the original nova loom up the right hand side; its just headlights, radiator/cooling sensors/fan etc.
Ive no experience with any engine looms (left hand side usually) so cant advise - im sure it would be a little trickier, but maybe same kind of thing..? :-s
You often un-earth previous 'handy' work/efforts/problems as you go, which is no bad thing.
My engine loom was all new for MBE ecu custom made; already sleeved insulated all done. Only had to feed it through the engine bay.

i didnt route mine like peesters, i drilled a hole through the inner wing to go through under the slam panel rather than routing it round the front lip piece. i only had to extend the offside headlight/sidelight wires and the radiator fan switch. iirc.

id say get a couple of 90 degree bends to. it really neatens up the job and makes fitting into a hole alot better
