Hi all recently i changed my girlfriends oil on her 1.2 corsa c and the oil cap was covered in mayo, so i cleaned it and thought it must of just been needing a service but now its back again.

The car doesnt overheat as you would expect or use loads of water. It runs perfectly smooth and normal. I've heard sometimes the breather pipe gets blocked and causes it or could just be condensation build up. Not sure myself.

Any help appreciated and heres a pic..

I was thinking the above, but thats a hell of a lot of mayo there, much more than id expect from just condensation, thats mixing coolant/oil somewhere id say!

yes she drives to work every day which is literally 1 and half mile down road, doesnt really do more than 10mile a day

It does look a bit excessive but if shes only doing a mile and a half trips then i wouldnt worry if no collant loss or powerloss

No powerloss at all the car runs sweet, i'll just keep an eye out for loss of coolant

To be expected on the c. If the oil is black then it's ok :)
